Comfort Inn is searching for Guest Service Representatives in Dickson, TN.
This individual will be responsible for attending to the needs of hotel guests, especially during check-in and check-out.
This position will work four days per week for 8 hour shifts, during the morning (7a-3p) and evening (3p-11p) shifts depending on the day.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Providing information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities.
Responding to requests from guests for assistance during their stay.
Provide information about the local area (e.
g.
directions, places to eat, etc.
) Selling rooms to walk-in customers.
Entering/changing reservation information on the computer system.
Posting charges to guest accounts.
Processing payments from guests.
Making necessary corrections to guest accounts.
Informing housekeeping department about room status/availability.
Listening for and responding to guest complaints.
Cleaning the front desk area.
Maintaining daily logs and reports.
Balancing shift work and cash drawers.
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Candidate must meet the following criteria:
Have reliable transportation.
Be punctual and possess a good attendance record.
Flexible and can work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Demonstrate strong guest service orientation and skills.
Exhibit exceptional communication skills.
Capable of quickly evaluating alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
