The Marketing Coordinator plays an essential role in driving our marketing initiatives and supporting our business growth.
Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, the position is instrumental in executing effective marketing campaigns that align with the company's vision.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to implement marketing strategies that align with DES's overall objectives and sales plans.
Execute marketing campaigns across various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
Coordinate digital and traditional marketing efforts to enhance DES's presence within our target markets.
Assist in creating compelling content for marketing materials, including social media, newsletters, brochures, and presentations.
Support the planning and execution of advertising and promotional activities, closely monitoring market reactions for necessary adjustments.
Help maintain and update DES's website and social media platforms, ensuring they reflect our latest offerings and promotions.
Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and present findings to the Business Development Manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive communication and execution of marketing initiatives.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights that can shape our marketing strategies.
Aid in organizing events, trade shows, and other promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
Contribute to the management of the marketing budget, tracking expenditures and optimizing resource allocation.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and strategies for marketing initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with one to three years' experience in marketing role or related field.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties SPECIAL SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of marketing activities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software is a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a creative mindset for crafting engaging content.
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and effectively manage projects.
Basic understanding of digital marketing tools, including social media platforms and website management.
Analytical skills to interpret data and draw meaningful insights for continuous improvement.
Adaptable and willing to learn in a dynamic environment, embracing change and new challenges.
High degree of professionalism and ability to interact with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work 8-hour shifts or longer if emergencies require.
Must be able to work under any type of weather condition.
Must be skilled in the application of first aid methods.
Must be able to follow safe and efficient work practices.
Must possess visual acuity and manual dexterity as well as the ability to listen and communicate orally.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Indoor & Outdoor working positions, requiring incumbents to travel from office to worksite via company vehicle.
Requires constant indoor and outdoor work with the potential for extreme outdoor temperatures.
Potential to work outside normal working hours on occasion.
