Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in a home care setting - Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment - Utilize systems and protocols to effectively communicate and document information related to client care - Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients - Lift and transfer individuals as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct support or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals as required Please note that this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the clients.
