PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Successfully implement the approved quality plan in support of the corporation's Annual Operating Plan.
Direct the day-to-day quality function in support of other corporate functions such as Operations and Advanced Engineering.
Develop, approve, and maintain ISO-9001 quality system requirements via internal documentation and systems.
AUTHORITY:
Implement approved quality plans. Stop production or shipments to customers if required.
Responsibilities:
Establish, document and maintain ISO 9001 quality system within facility.
Approve and document customer and/or internal testing methods and ensure required records are maintained.
Assist with preparing strategic planning.
Develop, directly supervise, and appraise quality department subordinates.
Analyze problems with products, processes or systems and develop and implement timely solutions.
Directly interface with customers and subcontractors regarding typical quality issues such as new product negotiations, PPAP submissions, SIR, and subcontractor qualification.
Assure timely and successful completion of Quality related APQP and Launch activities.
Plan and implement typical quality activities such as quality engineering, inspection, testing, laboratory testing, MRB and quality costs reporting.
Maintain a positive working relationship with Customer, Subcontractors, Operations, Advanced Engineering and all other groups in support of the successful completion of their missions.
Personally interface with group executives and managers to implement and maintain ISO 9001 into their day-to-day operations.
Monitor and report quality system performance as required
Visit customers and subcontractors as needed to maintain positive relations.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or Director of Corporate Quality.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Four (4) year degree or (4) years equivalent experience in quality management.
ASQ certification in quality engineering or quality management desired or four (4) years
experience in automotive industry type quality elements (e.g. PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans).
Ability to travel overnight.
A working knowledge of calibration systems and testing laboratory procedures is encouraged.
Computer literacy with a working knowledge of typical Microsoft Office, and database software.
Sedentary 40% of the workday. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
