Closing Agent/Processor (Settlement Agent)

Closing Agent/Processor (Settlement Agent) responsibilities include:
Pre/Post Closing Processing
Provide Superior Customer Service
Review new files upon receipt
Send customer letters
Gather and process all information/documents for closing
Prepare title commitments
Prepare files for closing
Make disbursements
Package and warehouse closed loan files
Prepare title insurance policies (n/a)
Maintain working relationships w/clients, customers, lenders, realtors
Coordinate with Closing Agent to attend sales meetings every Tuesday
You are a marketing representative for the company---Ask for the business!
5 requests for an order/day (over the phone, in person, email, etc.)
Closing-Related Responsibilities
Assist Closer, as needed, in the following capacities:
Maintain strong business relationship with both Crye-Leike and non-Crye-Leike agents
Enter new orders
Review title reports if anything unusual appears
Review title commitments
Act as back-up closer
Other tasks as assignedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
